Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to all purchases with PilaMania. We sell decoration materials such as reusable balloon systems to both private individuals and businesses. As a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date. We apply a warranty period of 1 year on our products. If you have any questions, you can always contact us.

2.1. These general terms of delivery apply to all offers, quotations and agreements between PilaMania and the customer, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

2.2. These terms apply both to sales to consumers (private individuals) and to business customers (companies).

2.3. Deviations from these terms are only valid if they have been expressly agreed in writing.

2.4. Any general terms and conditions of the customer are expressly excluded, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

2.5. If one or more provisions of these terms prove to be null and void or voidable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.

3.1. PilaMania sells decoration materials, including:

• Modular, reusable balloon systems
• DIY decoration sets
• Event and party decorations
• Related accessories and parts

3.2. All product descriptions, images and specifications in our web shop, catalogue or other communications have been compiled as carefully as possible, but may contain minor deviations.

3.3. PilaMania reserves the right to modify or improve products without prior notice.

3.4. Custom-made or customised products are only delivered after an express written agreement and at the additional price applicable at that time.

4.1. All prices are in euros and include VAT, unless stated otherwise.

4.2. Shipping costs and any other costs are stated separately and are at the customer's expense.

4.3. PilaMania has the right to adjust prices. Price changes do not apply to orders already placed.

4.4. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise.

4.5. For business customers, the following payment methods may be used: bank transfer, direct debit (after authorisation), or other payment methods agreed with PilaMania.

4.6. For consumers, the following payment methods are available: iDEAL, credit card, PayPal, bank transfer or other payment methods offered in the web shop.

4.7. For orders above an amount to be determined by PilaMania, advance payment may be requested. For consumers, the advance payment amounts to a maximum of 50% of the order amount.

5.1. Delivery takes place at the address provided by the customer within the Netherlands and Belgium, unless agreed otherwise.

5.2. The delivery time is usually 2-5 working days after receipt of payment, unless stated otherwise.

5.3. Stated delivery times are indicative. Exceeding the delivery time does not give any right to compensation, unless this is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of PilaMania.

5.4. PilaMania has the right to deliver orders in parts. Each partial delivery may be invoiced separately.

5.5. The risk of the goods passes to the customer at the moment of delivery. In the case of shipment, this is the moment of transfer to the carrier.

5.6. The customer is obliged to inspect the shipment for visible damage or shortages immediately upon receipt and to report this in writing to PilaMania within 3 days.

6.1. Consumers have the right to dissolve the agreement without giving reasons within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

6.2. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must notify PilaMania unambiguously within the 14-day period.

6.3. The consumer must return the goods within 14 days of notification of withdrawal in their original condition and packaging.

6.4. The costs of return shipment are at the consumer's expense.

6.5. PilaMania will refund the purchase price paid (excluding shipping costs) within 14 days of receipt of the return shipment.

6.6. The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Products manufactured to the consumer's specifications
• Products that by their nature cannot be returned
• Products that have been mixed with other products

7.1. PilaMania guarantees that the products delivered comply with the agreed specifications and are free from material and manufacturing defects.

7.2. The warranty period is 1 year from the delivery date, unless agreed otherwise.

7.3. The warranty lapses in case of:

• Improper use or use not in accordance with the instructions
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage due to external causes
• Repairs or modifications by third parties

7.4. Under warranty, PilaMania will, at its own discretion, repair or replace the product or refund the purchase price.

7.5. Warranty claims must be reported in writing within the warranty period, stating the problem and, if possible, submitting the proof of purchase.

8.1. PilaMania is only liable for direct damage that is the direct result of an attributable failure in the performance of the agreement.

8.2. PilaMania is not liable for indirect damage, including consequential damage, lost profit, missed savings or damage due to business interruption.

8.3. The liability of PilaMania is in all cases limited to the amount paid out in the relevant case by the liability insurance, or to the amount of the relevant invoice.

8.4. PilaMania is not liable for damage arising from:

• Incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer
• Improper use of the products
• Failure to comply with usage or maintenance instructions

8.5. Any liability claim against PilaMania lapses after 24 months from the moment the claim arose.

9.1. Complaints about the products or services can be submitted via:

9.2. PilaMania strives to handle complaints within 14 days.

9.3. If a complaint does not lead to a satisfactory solution, the parties can resort to mediation or binding advice.

9.4. For consumers: in the event of disputes, you can turn to the Geschillencommissie Webwinkel, Postbus 90600, 2509 LP Den Haag (www.sgc.nl).

9.5. Dutch law applies to all agreements.

9.6. All disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district where PilaMania is established, unless the law provides otherwise.

10.1. All intellectual property rights in the products, designs, images, texts and other materials developed by PilaMania rest with PilaMania.

10.2. The customer is not permitted, without the written consent of PilaMania, to:

• Copy or reproduce designs, models or other intellectual property
• Use brand names, logos or other distinctive marks of PilaMania

10.3. In the event of infringement of intellectual property rights, the customer owes an immediately payable penalty of € 5,000 per violation, without prejudice to PilaMania's right to compensation.

11.1. PilaMania processes personal data in accordance with the applicable privacy legislation (GDPR).

11.2. For more information about the processing of personal data, we refer to our privacy statement, which is available on our website.

11.3. Customer data is used exclusively for:

• Performance of the agreement
• Customer service and communication
• Marketing purposes (only with consent)

12.1. PilaMania reserves the right to amend these terms.

12.2. Amendments take effect 30 days after publication on the website or written notice to the customer.

12.3. If the customer does not agree with the amendments, they have the right to terminate the agreement as of the date on which the new terms take effect.

13.1. These terms have been drawn up in Dutch. In the event of translations into other languages, the Dutch text prevails.

13.2. These terms were last amended on 11 July 2026.
